My name is Haley and I am a senior in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Memphis.

Apart from my degree, I have a lot of mechanical/ electrical repair experiences based on personal projects. I grew up with my father building and restoring all sorts of older cars and I started to do the same as soon as I got my first car.

1996 Acura Integra:

I currently have a 1996 Acura Integra and a 1997 Saab 900 that I love working on. I've done the most work to my Integra and by the time I am "finished" with it, I likely will have replaced every component on it. I have currently replaced the brake system, rebuilt the engine, stripped and cleaned the interior, and added a roll cage. I am working on replacing the suspension and adding baffles to the oil pan so I can track it.

1997 Saab 900:

The Saab is in much better condition and I have only needed to do minor repairs and maintenance on it. Currently I am working to restore the AC but that has been the only difficult task that I have done since I got it.

For electronics, I have taken apart nearly every device that I use often as it has broken. I still have a calculator that I got from the 4th grade and have had to do some repairs on it as its broken throughout the years. I've built numerous computers and broken down a number of phones and laptops to make repairs or improvements as needed.
