One of the most simple possible explanations for this is that when you are typing on the keyboard, your palms are accidentally touching the trackpad. You may have a different typing style than your wife, thus causing this to only happen on your unit. An external keyboard may help solve this issue. This will allow you to separate the keyboard that you are typing on from the trackpad. Try typing an email on your wife's computer and see if you can reproduce the issue.

While this is theoretically possible, purchasing each individual component would most likely cost more that purchasing an used or even possibly new device, as replacement parts are not usually sold at cost. Also there are many pieces that are not usually sold as individual replacement parts. Depending on the condition of the parts, getting every single component to work together without a builder's guide would be a challenge.

When dealing with water and electronics, it is bet to give the device lots of time to completely dry out. After a less extreme dunking in water it took 4 days for a phone to completely dry out. If possible wait up to a week with the phone in uncooked, dry rice to make sure that it is completely dry to attempt to mitigate any shorting due to water stuck deep inside of the phone. Take a look at iFixit's Electronics Water Damage page for more information. The idea is to be patient and save the device, not to rush and possibly damage it further.

Your computer appears to use SATA to interface between the motherboard and the DVD drive. You will need to purchase a new SATA capable 5.25" DVD drive in addition to a SATA cable to connect the DVD drive to the SATA header on your motherboard. Depending on how your BIOS is configured you will need to press the key that flashes on the screen during startup to enter the setup and enable the SATA port. Then install the drivers in Windows. Here is a link to Dell's download page for your desktop. Dell Inspiron 580 Driver Downloads Under "Network" you will find the most recent version of the driver software for your computer. Download and install the driver for the card which you are experiencing driver issues with. If replacing/updating the driver does not solve your problem, it could be a problem with the hardware inside of your computer or the device that you are attempting to connect to.

The keyboard on the Unibody MacBook Pro is deep inside of the case. Because of the unibody construction the internals of the computer must be removed before one can access the keyboard. iFixit Upper Case Removal Guide. The front audio failing could be caused by many different things. Make sure that the volume control is not turned down or muted. Sometimes each port on the computer has its own set of volume controls. Check the cable that runs from the front panel audio jack to the motherboard and see if it is completely connected. In am unfamiliar with your particular machine and where it should be connected. Make sure that the jack is not loose. If it is, it has become unseated from the board that holds it in place and may need to be soldered back in place.

Unfortunately, it sounds like in the process of updating your iPad had an error and entered recovery mode. At this point, the only way to reload the iPad is to connect it to iTunes on a computer using the USB cable.

Turning off Wifi, bluetooth, and cellular data can help. This can usually be done by placing the device in airplane mode. Reducing the screen brightness and closing unused applications can also help. Otherwise using the device less will increase standby battery life.

Make sure that the flash is enabled and is not disabled within the camera's menu system. If it is active, depress the shutter and carefully attempt to help the flash pop up.
