It does not look like it is repairable. It does, however, look replaceable. I am just not aware of anyone that sells replacement parts.

If your gameboy is anything like mine, the bracket that the ribbon cable connects to is white and there is a darker gray retaining clip behind it. You need to put the ribbon cable between these two pieces and push down on the two edges of the darker retaining clip. It will probably take a few tries and you may have to catch your buttons. Mine seem to enjoy falling out when I open my gameboy up. Hope this helps.

Hello, You could use a windows install disk. If your computer came with one, use that. If not, you could find a friend with the version of windows that you need and burn a recovery disk. When you use a recovery disk from the current state of your hard drive, you will want to enter the BIOS. I am not sure exactly which button it is on your computer, pressing delete repeatedly is usually universal. In boot options there is an option for it to boot from a cd. You will need to select this and save it in order for the computer to read the disk in the drive before the hard drive. Make sure the disk in in the drive and restart the computer. It might take a few minutes but it should start up in the version of windows that you made the repair disk from. If this does not work try reformatting the hard drive and try this process again.
