Hello! I am Samuel Purkuti, an international freshman, majoring in Data Science at the University of North Texas. I am from the birthplace of Buddha: Nepal.

I have always been fascinated by the development process of computer software and the power of programming language. During my childhood, I used to program my own fun games and used to play it with my parents. Growing up, I got the chance to know the field of Data Science which fascinated me. Whether it be in answering questions or watching best-reviewed movies, I believe to be data-driven.

I have indulged myself in various club activities back home. I was the Club President of a social service club in my high school and Head Boy in my school. I want to engage and learn in the best possible way to achieve my goal of being a data analyst. I want to learn tools to enhance my skills in data visualizations as well.

Apart from my major, I love to travel and explore new cuisines. I have been to various places inside and outside my country. I have even got the chance to trek to the Everest Base Camp which is the starting point to reach the summit. I am planning to explore the hidden gems here in the States, as well, in my coming breaks.

This project was introduced to me in our TECM class and I am really excited to work on it. I have always enjoyed assembling and fixing devices but guiding someone is something new for me. With this project, I want to deliver clear and informative guidance which will be helpful in my future career too.
