I am pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at Cal Poly SLO. While I do not have a lot of experience, I find enjoyment in tearing down old devices and seeing what’s inside. Computers in particular interest me and I hope that I can develop hardware for others to use in the future.
I’ve also done some projects with the Raspberry Pi in the past. Last year, I created a home automation server so that I could tell Amazon Alexa to turn my computer on or off.
While I am familiar with disassembly and following the instructions of a repair manual, I’m hoping that this project will introduce me to the technical and organizational aspects of creating a repair manual. By this project’s conclusion, I will have more respect for those that can simplify technical jargon and convert information for an audience unfamiliar with technology.
I do not have a lot of hobbies, and there aren’t any remarkable traits about me. I enjoy reading about philosophy, politics, and religion in my free time. I collect fountain pens and enjoy listening to music, especially of the acoustic genre.
