3 Why won’t the S9700 connect the Wi-Fi to a phone?
I’m trying to connect my S9700 to another device through the WiFi Function. I’ve tried a few times now and it still will not work.

The Wi-Fi option has to be turned on in the setting menu in order for the Wi-Fi to work. Wi-Fi also will not work if the signal is too weak, this means you are too far from your phone. If these are of no help, try looking here: Nikon CoolPix S9700 Troubleshooting
