My hard drive and the rom are not showing

Is there any way to fix, if the hard drive and the rom are not gaining any power.

Hi,

Your information is a bit vague. Do not understand what you mean by 'ROM' not getting any power.

If you can answer some of the following we may be able to help you.

Are you getting any power at all in the laptop? Is there a power light on the laptop with adapter connected and switched on? Are any other lights showing on power on? If so which ones? Is the fan starting,? Can you get into BIOS? What is your laptop NOT doing? Are you getting any 'messages' on the screen?
