I have a 160GB Mercury Elite-AL Pro storage solution box and wanted to replace the hard drive with something larger. Is it possible? If so, how hard is it on a scale from 1 to 10. With 1 being easy.

OWC actually makes four versions of this case, all sharing the same Mercury Elite-AL Pro name. The difference is in the internal and external interfaces. Two models have the older IDE internal hard drive interface, and two models have the newer SATA internal hard drive connections.

As to difficulty, I have torx screwdrivers, for me this is a 1 or at most a 2. Without a torx screwdriver this would push a 7.
