4. The lens cap parts consist out of 3 blades on the top and 3 on the bottom side. The top 2 can be taken off for cleaning. Keep the one with the spring attached in position. the blades on top and bottom are nearly identical. no 3 is with the spring, no2, with big pin, no 1 is with small pin
