thanks its very useful forme
thank you, very useful for my old camera :)
Perfect! I never even knew I had this battery in there. Couldn't figure out why the date and time wouldn't stay set every time I shut it off. And then I found the answer here.
Thank you very much for the post!
I'm a senior citizen and am not very good with modern technology. Been going crazy trying to set my clock in my digital camera. I didn't want to buy a new one because I have had this one for years (Power Shot A590) and didn't want to have to learn to use a newer one. Finally got smart enough to do a google search for an answer. Will get a new battery tomorrow and solve my problem. Thanks for the help!...the information age is good for something after all.
Wow this is a great site. I got the answer I needed right away. The instructions were clear, simple and correct. Thank you.
You are bookmarked.
I had this annoying problem for two years and thought a lot of disassembly would be required to access this battery, so I lived with it. I was glad I came across this site and never realized that the lithium battery cover was so easily accessed. I easily replaced the CR1220 battery and now have my time/date back.

Hello, my name is ATOULOUKOU, I am a user of the Canon A580 camera, it's been an old one that I have now, Uh, I bought myself a duracell battery, 2 days ago that and I replaced the old batteries with the new ones but I noticed that my call always shows the low battery and advises me to change the batteries I don't know if these are the newly purchased batteries or the device has a pale (maybe there is a built-in battery inside which is weak) well I don't know, so I would like you to help me with this problem
Can the hatch be replaced. The piece that holds the hatch is broken.
