The Power Jack does not work

The cable connection to the computer is weak/nonexistent.

Debris in the Power Jack

Check the power jack for possible obstructions. You could blow air into the jack, or purchase a specialized cleaning device, such as compressed air.

Damaged Power Jack

Check for possible damage to the power jack on both the cable and the computer. If the damage is on the cable, you should purchase a new one. If it is on the computer, see Sustitución del Conector de Alimentación del Toshiba Satellite C50D-A.

The CD Player is not working

The CD player isn't functioning properly. The computer doesn't register the CD, or won't play it.

CD is broken

Examine your CD to determine whether it is scratched, or broken. Try using it on a different device to see if it has a similar issue.

CD Player is broken

This may be caused by physical or water damage. In this case, you would have to replace your CD player, see Sustitución de la Unidad Óptica del Toshiba Satellite C50D-A.

The computer is overheating

Your computer turns off unexpectedly, or becomes hot.

Defective Battery

Inspect the battery to see if it needs to be replace by following Sustitución de la Batería del Toshiba Satellite C50D-A guide to replacing your battery.

Broken Fan

Can you determine if the issue is due to dust or a broken part? If it is dust, purchase an air compressor and blow it into the air vents on the bottom of your laptop. If not, see Sustitución del Ventilador del Toshiba Satellite C50D-A.

The computer will not charge

The computer will not start charging, even though it is plugged in.

Cable isn't connected

Check to make sure the cable is plugged into the correct space and that it is connected to an outside power source -- the outlet. Make sure that everything is properly plugged in.

Computer needs to reboot

Try restarting your computer, by pressing and holding the power button for at least 20 seconds. If that doesn't work, see the Sustitución de la Batería del Toshiba Satellite C50D-A

A blank screen keeps appearing

The computer display is completely blank when it is turned on.

Frozen Computer

Try restarting your computer, by pressing and holding the power button for at least 20 seconds.

RAM is defective

Hi

just installed windows 10 on Toshiba c50d-a went to use my computer today and put it password just comes up with the welcome and the little circles spinning around. Can not get passed it. Does anyone know how to fix this??
