Hello! My name is Jailyn Rodriguez, and I’m currently a senior at the University of Rhode Island majoring in Public Health. I chose this major because I’m passionate about making a difference in people’s lives by promoting wellness, equity, and community-based care. It allows me to combine my love for science with my desire to work closely with others in meaningful ways.
My long-term goal is to become an Occupational Therapist, where I can help individuals regain independence in their daily lives—especially those recovering from injuries, managing disabilities, or aging gracefully. I’m excited to build a career that blends compassion, science, and service.
