Hello, I am a current student at The University of Rhode Island. I am studying Civil Engineering and want to work within the structure aspects.

I have always had a strong passion for building and innovating since a young age. Whether it be taking apart old computers or building Legos, I have always had an interest in this field. As I have gotten older, I have taken more engineering classes that have allowed me to gain valuable information. Taking these classes before college has only grown my interest and passion for engineering.

My goal in the future is to be in a well-established engineering firm in the Boston area. Being in Boston will allow me to stay in my home state, which is what I'd prefer. My dream is to stay with the one firm that I started with and work my ranking up as the years go on.

Projects/Accomplishments

The top image was taken during my senior year of high school. We were able to 3-D print out objects that we had designed previously on SolidWorks. This image shows a tractor that I had designed. Initially, all of these pieces were designed separately. In the image to the left, all of these individual pieces were put together to create the final product.

OSHA certified

The image below is one of my life's greatest accomplishments and was also from my senior year of high school. I was the head of a group that went to a local elementary school to help out students. We contacted the local middle school and wanted to help 4th graders who might have a troubled home life or didn't have too many friends at school.

We were a big brother program that helped these kids transition into middle school. We would do classwork-oriented games, help with homework or studying, and even sit in the classroom to help these students. Creating such a program to help these younger kids prosper was ultimately the goal for my group and me.

We were the first group to do something like this and have passed our ideas down to the following grades. They now have a group for every elementary school in the district and have male and female students helping as well.
