Hi my name is Leah! I am a civil engineering major at the University of Rhode Island. I chose this major as I have always been fascinated with structures, bridges, etc. My goal is to have a future career that has to do with bridges. Whether this be inspecting designing, or creating. One skill that I have is having experience with the use of a variety of different types of CAD work. So far in my field I have done two different internships, one being bridge inspection. I am a very hands-on person so I have done my fair share of fixing things. In my spare time I like to hunt, fish, and mainly just be outside. Pictured below is my favorite fish to catch, the bass.

This project will benefit me by giving me a better idea of how to write things both professionally but understanding to the public. This will come in need when writing documents in my future like bridge reports. Fun fact about me is that I am an animal lover, especially farm animals.
