the author forgot to mention to remove also the two screws right next to the gimbal. in this picture, they are already removed. without removing these, you cannot open the drone!!

Yes exactly! I forgot this twice! Its very annoying. maybe the author could write this in step 32? Would save a lot people a lot of time :)
