Alright - I fixed it! I needed to get the igniter up about 1.5 mm higher than it was sitting to get it to arc to the burner cap. So what I did was I took the part’s called “Holder Orifice” (the aforementioned support for the burner plate and holder of the igniter) and I used a bench grinder and just ground down the little ear where it holds the igniter. Before grinding, it is 8.6 mm thick, so plenty of metal. I made each one about 1.8 mm thinner and voila! the igniters now sat higher and arc perfectly to the burner cap. Lo and behold! As soon as the gas comes on, it immediately ignites now!
