Hello, I’m Cole Robinson and I am currently a first-year Electrical Engineering Major at California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo. I chose to be an Electrical Engineer because of my aptitude for math and science and also an interest in electrical circuits. Although I’m not sure what I would like to do in the future, I hope to be able to take my knowledge gained here at Cal Poly and apply it to my career.

In terms of repairing devices, I have minimal experience although I have swapped an Intel chip in my PC before. I’m excited to learn some important repair skills and to gain some basic knowledge on the construction of our Lenovo ThinkPad. I believe this project will greatly benefit me by giving me experience with constructing and deconstructing devices.

Aside from learning valuable technical skills from this project, I hope to earn some important skills related to working with other people in a group setting. A fun fact about myself is that I like to solve Rubik’s Cubes to pass time.
