https://www.asusparts.eu/en/ https://www.zandparts.com/en/ Fair warning when you order from zandparts.eu expected it to take some time. I ordered two parts from them which is priced very fair in my opinion. However, they get you the real deal Asus part and if they don't have it in stock they get it from Asus. By the way asusparts.eu, and zandparts.com is one in the same company. They're out of Sweden. I ordered my parts on May 3rd, 2019 and just yesterday June 14th, 2019 I got the confirmation and the tracking number that it was shipped. I'm okay with that because I know I'm getting the real replacement parts from Asus. I'd much rather support a reputable company that gets their parts directly from Asus. I did inquire about my parts after some time and they assured me and let me know exactly what was going on. They are very courteous always replied to my emails so far it's been a pleasant interaction with Zandparts. Which in return makes me want to buy Asus products In the future when upgrading or buying...
Leer másSo there are conflicting instructions on iFixit when you follow the instructions such as the ones from iFixit Battery Calibration How to calibrate your battery For phones and tablets: 1:Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. 2:Use your device until it shuts off due to low battery. 3:Charge it uninterrupted to 100%. When you receive the kit you get a card it says battery calibration with the I'll fix it logo on it it says (For Optimal Performance, calibrate your newly installed battery. Drain battery below 10% then charge uninterrupted to 100%.) And that is all So it's a little conflicting I'm going with the one from the wiki. The funny thing for me is it's been at 1% for 5 hours this is a Samsung S7 Edge does anybody know if this is normal? However, it did say the battery was too low to use flash when I took that picture maybe it's getting closer to shutting off. I just want to say iFixit is really cool I couldn't believe what I paid for my kit $32 came with everything to replace...
Leer másI just replaced a battery in a Galaxy S7 Edge I have a heat gun that I've never used but the kit came with the iOpener. I figured why not it came with it and it worked great granted the phone had a bulging battery which was separating the backplate which probably made it easier. Your idea sounds pretty sound for certain things especially a controlled temperature.
