For U Beth ! I had the same Prob…Took the Camera to Texas last year. At an important Birthday Gathering , it took 3# only Pics…and no more ! A young Gal at the party pulled out the card, and told me “ This was the ‘Free Trial’ Card , supplied for the Camera when you bought it….it does ONLY take three pix, and that’s it !” I bought a new card, and away I went …no further Probs !

I have owned my ‘Coolpix S6300 ‘ for three years. Never played up once…all of a sudden , NOTHING happens , when i plug in to my PC to download Photos I just took…. I blame that insidious Microsoft “Updates” for that…something AD happens to my PC EVERY time they download Up-Dates !

Any know ‘Fix “ for this prob ?…Cheers, Bruce
