Each time I trimmed my nails. It was impossible to open the back cover and had to use a mini screwdriver to open. Quite inconvenient. So I attached a small piece of clear packing tape (not the flimsy Scotchtape) to the inside of the cover's recess, with enough length sticking out to the side. Grab that tape and pull back on the cover. Voila. The otter case covers the tape, so the phone looks normal in use.
Yeah. One time my Note 4 did that too. It has an Otter case. What happened was I put the phone in topside down position into the rubber part. By mistake, of course. Corrected that and the problem was solved.
I have a Note 4 and want a 5. Can I permanently remove the adhesive from the cover to help aiding the removal process? The phone won't get in the water anyway. Adhesive seems like an overkill.
