How long have u left the device in there for because with most laptops and pcs it scans the device then it pops up and that's can take up to ten minutes

Well this is your computer trying to update but as it's saying it's missing a file the way to fix that would be to backup your folders on a hard drive and put a windows instalasipn disk in and it installs windows again and it has the updates already on it so your computer is good as new

Well resetting it does work beacuase I had this problem too except I only dropped it wet hands or getting it wet only breaks the speakers
