Soften the motherboard coating

  • If you aren't replacing the white interconnect cable skip to this step.

  • Apply a heated iOpener to the interconnect cable's ZIF connector on the motherboard for 90 seconds to soften the coating.

  • Alternatively, you can use a hair dryer or a heat gun for 30 seconds.

Verwarm de coating van het moederbord

Als je de witte interconnectkabel niet vervangt, kun je verdergaan met deze stap.

Leg een verwarmde iOpener gedurende 90 seconden op de ZIF-aansluiting van het moederbord om de coating te verzachten.

Je kunt hiervoor ook een föhn of een heteluchtpistool gebruiken. Richt de warmte in dat geval 30 seconden op de coating.
