Would it be considered "bad manners" to recycle some of the images from this tear-down for the disassembly steps of my own guide? Failing that, could I simply refer to "steps 1-6" of this guide?
I don't know why the moderators keep reversing my edits to this step. I have been repairing the Virtual Boy's displays for years, with many satisfied customers – I KNOW WHEREOF I WRITE!
While it does "completely tear down" the unit, it also makes it nearly impossible to put back together in fully working order. Furthermore, there is no need to remove the plastic frame – it doesn't gain you access to any parts you can't get to with it attached.
