Took early retirement back in '07 when the company I was with became yet another recession victim. That company did do me one big favour, it introduced me to Apple computers. Before that I had only ever worked with Microsoft based machines, except for two years in the late sixties when I was an operator on an ICL mainframe in the days when computers were kept in 'clean rooms' and took up the whole floor of an office block!

So a long interest in computers has finally brought me, through my current association with Apple, to this amazing site. I'm mostly working on iBooks, Powerbooks and G5 Desktops at present and all self trained!
