Bezel. The case. Yes,the plastic casing that everything is in. It can sometimes be bent therefore the lcd screen won't sit flush.Look at it closely. Sometimes the lcd screen can be damaged though.

No no no.If the digitizer is cracked,it is unresponsive for that reason.Need new screen.I would take it somewhere :)

I have had problems similar.The router connects all other devices,but not my ipad.I fixed this by resetting the router.I know you said your router works fine,but sometimes the ipod is the only thing that will not connect.Make sure you put the internet code in too.Sign out and sign in by forgetting network.Does it pick up networks,but not connect??Please tell me and I will help.....

First recheck the connection.I had it happen too.It is most likely because the lcd connector in either on bad or is ripped.When you move it it causes it to have distortion.I tried before but the screen I got sucked.I broke the speaker wires and the whole thing was destroyed.I think some screens are bad.Read reviews on them first,then buy. I really had the problem a few months ago.I moved the lcd cable ( the thick one on the top next to FaceTime camera) try moving that if the soft reset does not work. The soft reset is holding the home button and power button down together for 10 seconds roughly.Let me know and I will gladly help you out.Good luck. Hard reset it.Home and lock button for 10 seconds,simple.Just froze up.

everyone.people have trouble getting the screen flush with everything.i found the tricky reason it will not go in.the silver plastic backing that you hold when you play it gets bent.that is why it tilts up in areas and others it does not.set it on a flat table with the open end facing down.then set heavy books on it for like 5 minutes and boom.hope this helped :)

When you remove the silver plate it gives away the sturdiness.

everyone.people always wonder why the screen will not go in well.i found out the most common tricky reason why.the back plastic or metal whatever thing,it gets bent,that is why it tilts up and down in other areas and stuff.put it on a flat table and set really heavy books on top of it,face the open part down.then keep it like that for 5 minutes.it bends it back normal and boom,enjoy.
