If your running windows 8.1 or below here are the options i like to use: free: https://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ paid: http://www.passwordresetkey.com/site/?pa... both accomplish the same thing in a similar fashion, the paid one is a bit more beginner friendly with a nice interface.

Leer másLooks like you chewed through the video cable to the monitor. All hope may not be lost, windows does not always auto-detect and display to an external monitor, you can try the keyboard shortcut: window key + P that will tell the computer you want to use an external display.
Leer másYes, your mac will continue to operate while plugged in even if there is no battery installed at all.
Leer másSounds like you may have malware messing with your DNS. Are other devices able to connect to your network and work correctly? To confirm it is a DNS issue open a command prompt (start > programs > accessories > command prompt, or on windows 7 and up click start and type: CMD and press enter) in the command prompt type: ping 8.8.8.8 if you: reply from xx.xxx.xxx.xx (where the x's are numbers) : bytes=32 time= xxx TTL=xxx then you do in fact have an internet connection, but your DNS is incorrect. Use another computer to download a program like malwarebytes or similar anti-malware program and clean up your system. Once that is complete open up internet explorer, click the settings wheel in the upper right, select internet options, click the advanced tab and select reset. This will restore your DNS servers to their default. If none of the above work there are a few other things to try.
Leer másThe way I handle this type of problem is to clone the dying hard drive to an external disk using clonezilla: http://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-live.php This creates a complete block level copy to the external disk. Test booting to the cloned external disk and verify it works correctly. If it looks good replace the bad drive with the new drive and you're up and running. Assuming your computer is fairly recent it will use SATA disks, something like this external bay should work: http://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Lay-Flat-Docking-Station-Supports/dp/B00APP6694/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF...-3&keywords=external+drive+bay and purchase a hard drive of atleast the same size if not larger than your current drive.
Leer másI just tore mine down this morning, it was fairly straight forward. Tools you'll need is a Phillips head (PH2) screwdriver, a plastic spudger, and possibly a drill with about an 1/8" bit. 1. Remove the round rubber face from the charging orb 2 behind the rubber face is a thin sheet of plastic, you'll need to pierce it to access the 4 screws holding the device together. The screws are located at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock, just inside the outer ring. You will need to unscrew these if possible, on my unit they were glued in and I was unable to unscrew them. Instead I used a drill with a 1/8" bit to drill them out. If you drill them out be careful as they are surrounded by a PCB, though I drilled into the board a bit and it still functions. Once you remove the screws use the spudger to pry the shiny black plastic face off the base. You will see the seem where the shiny and matter plastic meet on the unit. There are 4 plastic clips holding it down, once they are unclipped you can remove the...
