Hello! My name is Al, I am currently a sophomore at the University of Kentucky with a major in Information Technology!

I'm an aspiring Cybersecurity Engineer, learning all I can about the job sector, even from repairs and rebuilds!

I have a knack for learning new technology, so taking things apart (within warranty) is something I love doing to see how the computers components look like, work, and what can be replaced and repaired. I have experience with Linux and specifically the Parrot/Kali distros which has helped me learn more about Cybersecurity tools!

Some of my projects include:
- Cloud Servers using Azure and Google Cloud

- Creating an Apple Relay server from my laptop for iMessage compatibility with android

- Building gaming PC's for friends, family, and myself

- Creating simple automated python scripts for network security and monitoring

I've got quite a bit of repair experience, especially when it comes to Keyboards, motherboard issues, laptop/desktop troubles, and even repairing phones and laptops with iFixit's tools!

In my spare time, I've always enjoyed looking into Cybersecurity newsletters and even trying to participate in some CTF's all while learning about the mistakes I made!

Some fun facts about me is that I have a crazy orange cat named Chomie, he's also a tech genius, loves my keyboard the most! I am from Iraq and have been in love with technology since I was a kid and learned about Cybersecurity when I was in middle school, messing with all kinds of tech and network stuff, where I ended up falling in love with the profession.

I love listening to Indie rock/pop music, as well as RnB and rap (shoutout Denzel Curry)
