The essential process for the Kobo Glo is similar enough however, with the difference being that it has a glued in recessed screen, which means you need to push the screen out from the front along with the rear assembly.
The guide also fails to mention 4 PH000 screws that hold the rear assembly - these need unscrewing once the back cover is off. They're all easy to spot.
For anyone wondering about the part number, the Kobo Glo (non-HD) runs a screen with the part number ED060XG1.
