Hi, I'm Bre Sanders!

I'm a third-year student at UC Davis studying Cognitive Science and Design. My double major allows me to pursue my artistic interests via Design, while learning about human cognitive processes via Cognitive Science. I'm curious to explore the realms that a design degree has to offer career wise, but am interested in marketing and brand creation.

This year I've been lucky enough to join the staff for the Whole Earth Festival, a three day, zero-waste education, arts, and music festival. I'm so grateful to learn and implement sustainable practices through the festival and have met so many wonderful people in the process, just a few pictured to the left.

In my spare time I enjoy exploring my creative capabilities. My first artistic passion was dance, but my shifting my inspiration into illustrations and compositions I've sparked into a design based initiative, which I most recently got to curate as a mural!

In regards to repair, I don't have much experience. I try to give all my possessions a long life and reduce waste but my methods are primarily through caring for them, redesigning or embellishing clothing to match my evolving style, and finding ways to repurpose items beyond their intended use. I'm very eager to learn my repairment capabilities through this project!
