Hello! My name is Kyle Albright!

I currently attend Austin Community College, where I am majoring in Computer Science / Software Engineering. I am a former graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where I received a B.A. in Philosophy.

After being a high school teacher for the better part of 15 years, I decided to make a career change, and move in to the tech field. After taking an online coding bootcamp sponsored by the University of Texas, I discovered a passion for coding, and software engineering.

In the future, I would like to explore how my past work in education, and my current zeal for technology could intersect via a meaningful project that could better the life of both students and educators.

While I am still new to the world of programming, I have taken on a few personal projects that I am proud of. My most recent is designing a web page using React, JavaScript, Node, and other frameworks/coding languages for a friend of mine who has her own personal organizing company. Because of this, she has seen her business double, and many clients have mentioned that they chose her, because her website was straightforward, easy to navigate, and provided all the necessary information for them to make a decision.

When I am not working on school work or other coding projects, you can find me watching football (Go Chiefs!), relaxing with my dogs, or playing video games. I enjoy trying new foods, and exploring new places around Austin.

From this project I would like to light a spark that could inspire me to be less wasteful around my own house, and tackle some of the more menial chores I've been meaning to accomplish. I also believe that this project will allow me to better my technical writing skills, which I believe will prove invaluable in the tech industry.
