I am a second-year student majoring in Computer Science at California State University, passionate about learning and exploring the fascinating world of technology. My journey as a student has been marked by a strong commitment to providing a better future for my family and a burning desire to make a difference in the male-dominated tech industry.
Academic Prowess: In my academic journey, I have excelled in coding mastering languages like Java, Python, and SQL. This has not only honed my technical skills but also instilled in me a sense of discipline and organization. In my first year, I maintained a high GPA, setting a strong foundation for my future endeavors.
Inspiring Change: One of my most important goals is to be a part of the change in the tech industry by inspiring young girls to pursue careers in technology. I believe that diversity is essential for innovation, and I'm determined to play a role in breaking gender barriers.
Practical Skills: Beyond my academic pursuits, I want to apply my knowledge practically. While I haven't repaired anything yet, I'm gearing up to tackle the challenge of fixing a vehicle with brake issues. It's a testament to my determination to learn new skills and take on real-world challenges.
Upcoming Endeavors: I am joining various clubs to broaden my horizons and connect with like-minded individuals. This will allow me to collaborate, learn, and make a meaningful impact in the tech community.
Hobbies: In my free time, I indulge in exploring different music genres and learning new languages. Fluent in English and Spanish, I am currently on a journey to learn Arabic and Korean, reflecting my love for diverse cultures and languages.
As I progress in my academic and personal journey, I aspire to continue growing as a technologist, a role model for young girls in tech, and a global citizen who embraces diversity and knowledge. My dream is not only to provide for my family but also to travel the world and learn about the rich tapestry of cultures it has to offer.
Professional Development: Beyond its practicality, my plan to repair a vehicle with brake issues is significant in my professional development. As a future CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) agent, mastering these skills is crucial for emergency situations. The ability to address vehicle-related issues can be a valuable asset in critical moments, ensuring that I am well-prepared to handle unexpected challenges.
