Hello everybody! My name is Janna Tikka and I am a Computer Science major at Washington State University Vancouver.

I chose my major because I love problem solving and learning new things. I am interested in software engineering and would love to work somewhere integrated with the business/financial world or building/architectural world, my other interests that I have experience and developed skills in. A project that I am really proud of is my assistance in the business development of Sable Coffee, a coffee shop in Kalispell, Montana.

I don’t really have any repair experience other than watching friends and family perform car and machinery repairs. I currently need to replace the battery and attempt to repair the back glass screen of my old iPhone X. I also have a Microsoft Surface laptop with a faulty keyboard that I need to fix when I have time (although I haven’t diagnosed whether it is a hardware or software issue). Working with iFixit will help me learn more about repairs!

My experience with this project will benefit me personally and professionally. I will improve my professional communication skills and increase my understanding of manuals and repair guides to help me with my own repair projects.
