haven’t got a definitive answer for you but in my opinion first you need to determine if its hardware or software, there are other applications that will tell you if your keyboard is giving an output (it may be working but not know what output to give) i have personally used some gaming software for this in the past (xpadder is one that allows you to assign a key to a controller button i already had it installed but it shows you the key press) but if you go online and type in keyboard tester you should find something similar if its a software problem and it does give an output but not the correct output then it might be worth going into you’re windows settings and adding a new keyboard layout see if that cures it, might be something as stupid as uk and us layouts being slightly different if its hardware then really you need to prove if its they keyboard or the laptop, you would have to put either a known working keyboard in (dont trust what people on ebay say iv been scammed before) or you would have to...
Leer másyou can do a recovery on a hard drive there are plenty of pieces of software you can buy (would have to be done from a pc) however they are not so cheap and you can send a hard drive off for recovery but now your looking at stupid money, when you quick format a hard drive which is what you would have likely done then it would just remove the data labels (the bits that tell the hdd where one peice of data starts and one ends) so when you use it again you write straight over the old data, if you had a full 40gb hdd and formatted it and wrote 20gb data then the first 20gb of the original data would be gone but in theory with the wright software you can recover the second 20, but this does not mean this data is usable and it does not mean it is complete particularly if the data was fragmented (data split across the drive due to things being deleted and new files being bigger so not fitting in the same place) if you wanted to try some free drive recovery software you might get something back but i would really...
Leer másgo on ebay and buy a bottle of IPA (isopropyl alcohol) you will get some for about a fiva go for 99% if you can, its what they use for cleaning pc components, its non conductive so it doesn’t matter if you get it inside electrics and it will also evaporate if you leave it a while so no need for cleaning it up it is fantastic at dissolving glue, i would personally take the phone apart again and get a q-tip/cotton bud dip it in the ipa and just softly rub at the glue with the IPA and it will devolve, shouldn’t take you more than 5-10 mins once your inside the phone
Leer másthat would be a re solder jobbie they are fairly generic iv changed a few in the past usually four solder points, easiest to remove with a hot air gun, you’d have to take the board out put some flux on the old port, heat it up with the hot air gun and lift it with some tweezers (if it doesn’t come away add some fresh solder and try again), then clean the pads up with your soldering iron, position you’re new one on top taking care to line the pins up and re-melt the solder, add a little more and then make sure that there are no bridges if you type into youtube micro usb replace you’ll see what i mean, not too hard but watch a video and make your own mind up
Leer máswater does not damage electrics, water damages electrics that are on because the water conducts electricity if you get it over something like a motherboard you can short everything to everything else and fry potentially any component pretty much, however you might get lucky and dry it out and everything’s fine, usb ports to my understanding have over current protection which if you’re lucky might have stopped a short doing damage, i would recommend taking out the battery (if you can) and the whole thing out, depending on how much water got in it might warrant a tear down and a dry out with the hairdryer but if it wasn’t too much just leave it a couple days somewhere warm to dry and don’t turn it on until your happy it is, then see what happens unfortunately i cant really advise on what to repair if it doesn’t work as like i say you can be joining everything to everything else it can fry anything but iv had reasonable success in the past so feel free to msg me when you have a bit more infomation
Leer másuse a hairdryer to soften the glue or/and IPA (cleaning alcohol pretty cheap on ebay) its pretty %#*@ good at removing glue they use it for pc parts and it is also none conductive so you dont have to worry about getting it in electrical components
Leer másim assuming you’re talking about the buttons with the black stuff on the back, if so this is carbon which conducts electricity, on a circuit board you would have two traces (copper bits) and joining them together would complete the circuit and turn your phone on, the carbon is normally suspended above by a silicone membrane which when you press it deforms allowing the carbon piece to complete the circuit, if this is the case (would need more specifics on what you’re working on) then you could steal a piece from an old calculator or something else that uses these buttons and it should work ok but honestly i think id just replace the button if i were you because you wouldn’t want to leave it in there or it would be like constantly holding the power button down
Leer másrelays are essentially an electronic switch, when a voltage is applied to the coil it will close the switch when it is removed it will open (normally open relay), without going into too much detail the type of relay youre talking about would be set up to cut its own power supply to make the light flash, as such if it is working you should be able to hear it clicking in and out, if it inst (with you’re multi meter in dc mode because its being fed by a battery) check there is power getting to it, if there is then you would expect continuity (complete circuit) through one side when the coil is energised and not the other and vice versa when it is de energised - but if you’re not familiar with electrics i would just listen for the clicking, if its not clicking its either not getting power for some reason or its stuck/burned
Leer máspretty sure you’re talking about the wifi antenna lead, if you dont plug it in your wifi wont work (one i found on google - https://www.replacebase.co.uk/apple-iphone-6s-replacement-wi-fi-antenna-oem?keyword=&creative=46191494154&gclid=... )
Leer máshairdryer works as well as a hot air gun or these guys sell a microwavable sack thing that you microwave and is designed for resting on the screen to melt the glue i think its called an iopener, but really you just need some heat to soften the glue a hot water bottle would work just as well as long as you make sure its dry
