Greetings,
I was born and raised in Rosemount, Minnesota, a smaller town half an hour south of Minneapolis. About half of my peers were farmers, and the other half lived in upper end suburb homes.
While I was attending Rosemount High School, I spent my summers helping on my great uncle’s farm, and my school year playing golf and hockey. I was inducted into National Honors Society, and earned an AP scholars award. Throughout high school, I was heavily involved in Civil Air Patrol, and one of the leading instructors at the Emerald Green’s Future’s Golf Club. I have taught at the Future’s club for four years now, and plan to continue teaching g there this upcoming summer.
I am currently a part of the Naval ROTC at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, studying Aerospace Engineering. This past summer, Naval ROTC flew me out to San Diego to conduct training aboard the USS Henry M. Jackson (SSBN 730), aboard USS Lake Champlain (CG 57), at Naval Air Station North Island, and at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
My future goal is to commission into the U.S. navy as a surface warfare officer and stay in the navy for over 30 years.
