google ECU TESTING or go onto youtube and check out faults with your model ! Solder used in the EEC has a high alloy content [ they dont like lead ] so the joints suffer from poor conductivity its a common problem !
Leer mások barring any problems with the waste pipe set put some hydrogen peroxide through it it will kill any bacteria ,they use it in industrial washers !
Leer másdoes it have a sealed for life plug ? set the meter to continuity and check the continuity from the plug pins to the mains in on the machine ,if you have continuity your problem is further on ! hope it helps .
Leer másI assume you are talking about the pas = electronic power steering , it has to go onto a Renault diagnostic unit ,Renault will charge you appx €1500/2000 for another unit ,but there are companies out there that are a lot cheaper !
Leer másPeugeot/Renault/Citroen are all part of the same group they all share common parts and systems a common problem with these cars is the bulkhead water drains that block up causing water to run over fuse/relay units and any cables in the floor area ,depending on your skill sets ,you need to take off the scuttle panels to access the water drains clean them out and then cut off the flaps they put on them because its them that cause the trouble in the first place . Go under the seats and check the cables and the connections ,check the fuse/relay boxes to see it if they have /had corrosion caused by condensation /water if there is corrosion you will have to clean up every terminal /connection when you have done that buy a can of silicone spray from tool station and spray every connector /relay in sight ,also do a continuity check on all and any earth leads these cars are prone to earth problems causing computer probpems! Regards a Renault owner !

Leer más1.9 what ? I'm guessing its a Renault /Peugeot as with a lot of automatics cars now days there is no dip stick they want you to take it to the dealers ,but a lot of these vehicles have a level plug this is fitted with a tube inside that sets the level you need to get the fluid up to temperature first put it in neutral and hand brake on with the engine running undo the the level plug if a small amount of fluid runs out and starts to trickle slowly down its up to level ,if none comes out you need pour some in until it starts to trickle out . The engine has to be running when you do this because it is pumping the fluid around the system if you do this without the engine running the level will be short , If you over fill the unit it will cause frothing and damage the the unit causing air in the fluid and static gear changes , I hope this helps !
Leer másIf you have Renault's clip software it will show what's wrong ,it is saying that the valve needs replacing ,looks like its the EMV valves ,if pressure is to low for the torque converter it can't lock up so you won't get drive to the wheels ,the first signed are delays between shifts and then a thump when it goes in gear ,you must reset the software after you change the valves or its back to square one . Renault automatics were sold on a no maintenance plan if if the fluid needed topping up that's all it ever needed ,said renault ,but the truth is this wrecks the gearbox because the fluid gets contaminated by all of the debris from the clutch packs with theatre steel spacers ,and the bands ,this just keeps being pumped around the system causing damage to valves/valvebody/seals/torque converter/bearings /bushes ect . Every other auto trans mfg on the planet say change the fluid at 30,000 miles ,renault /Peugeot/citrons are the only ones that don't because they are all part of the French collective , These...
