I hope that's what it is too... Would like to go ahead with replacing the front camera+proximity sensor, so if careful peeling the grounding tape off, can I re-use it? Or does it definitely need to be a new one? Can't find any information online on this. If anyone tried re-using: was result ok? Thanks!

Have just noticed these posts while looking for help on Proximity sensor+ Front camera not working after screen replacement on iPhone 5S. Is the motion sensor= proximity sensor? In this case, might the problem of the magnetic screw apply to my problem? I have tried 3 times reconnecting the sensor+camera, making sure they fit in tightly (screen came with the proper plastic/metal holders), have checked that the small rubber boot is present too. Have done a hard reset. No luck so far. Any suggestion?
