Hi, my name is Matt. I have been a professional camera, lens and camcorder repair technician since 1993. Repairing stuff is not a hobby, it's my livelihood.
I specialize in the repairing of:
*digital cameras: SLR, mirrorless and compact.
*lens and optical systems
*camcorders: memory card, HDV, MiniDV/DV, Digital8 formats
*film cameras of any vintage or era
*electronic flash systems
*1970's LED watches by Pulsar, Omega, Hamilton & Weihl.
Respuesta a "When I turn on the camera I see nothing?"The lens iris assembly is probably sticking closed. Sometimes oil migrates onto the iris assembly from the zoom mechanism in the lens, causing the iris blades to stick together.
Respuesta a ""No Memory Card Error" What next?"One of the contact pins are probably bent or mashed in. The way SD card slots are soldered to the PCB makes it nearly impossible to replace. Machines, not man solders this stuff together when it's made. Your best bet is to get a good main PCB from a junker SD1000 camera on eBay.
