My ifixit internal replacement battery won't charge

My internal replacement battery shows 69% charged when I plug it in, but does not charge any more and as soon as I unplug the computer, the computer completely shuts down (so the battery isn't being recognized or doesn't have a charge on it). I reinstalled it 3x to make sure the charge ports line up, and I even got a new replacement battery from ifixit but the new one is doing the same thing.
What should I do? Thanks!
