@richardnl if "Replacing the iFixit battery with the original battery again, the battery starts charging" you are saying that your old battery does charge but the ifixit battery does not, then it is a battery issue. Contact iFixit ***support@ifixit.com***  and explain to the great staff what is going on. You know they are going to make it right as rain :-)
