@walterjrgarcia teh backlight flickering and keyboard not working could be a torn, loose cable as well as damage to the board connector etc. I suggest that you take a look at those things first. remove the bottom case as show in step one on here [guide|138908] check cloely for any damage. Worst case scenario would be a new keyboard (upper case) or even a new motherboard. Let's check this all out first.
