i have this ipod touch thats been stuck on the apple logo for an extended period and would seemingly boot loop after ~15 minutes, so i tried to flash ios 6 back onto it and see if that would work. it failed with either error 9 or 1602 every time right after getting to "operation 28 progress -1" in the logs. it always failed because of it apparently disconnecting even though my cable and usb ports are fine. i tried restarting my computer too without any luck. it has a panic log too; device had saved panic logs: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x9c0dbac5): "Failed _ReplaceBadBlock CE 1 PBN 2568" which i unfortunately couldn't find anything on google to help me out. it got a bit warm near the top of the display after trying to recover it, which i didnt notice while doing the same process on a functional one. i noticed after trying to recover it, it would stay on the apple logo and then the itunes one, then loop back to the apple logo. it'd do that for an hour or so and shut back off. im suspecting its a hardware problem but id also like to be sure and know more about that panic log. im really new to stuff like this so sorry if anything was worded badly
