How to Reset A/C Temperature (After battery changed)?

After changing a dead battery the car reset itself and lost all its memory. The A/C temperature degrees do not correspond to the air. You have to dial to 60 F (lowest degree) to get cool air but if you dial 2 up (62 F degrees) hot air starts coming out.
