I suffer from the same issue. Few months after my warranty ended, thick pink stripes occured on my display. After I’ve reached out to support they told me that it’s going to be paid repair and it will cost about 2000 - 2500 PLN (about 450-550 €). The only solution I see is to buy some external display and turn that MBP into desktop. I really like mac os but I know I will never buy any Apple’s computer again. You can get much better hardware without issues like that.
