Hi! This sound like the CMOS battery is dead.

1) Check if the battery it is a '''model 2032''' (it is the size of a 5 cent coin attached to motherboard)

you can buy it at any farmacy or department store and change for a new one.

2) Other cause is the computer It's overheating and shuts down to protect itself. Check in the fan vent area

smell like something is burn or hot. If this happens the fan and heat sink need to be cleaned.
