Yes, I went through all the darn steps but I tried to use Assit and it won’t work, so my laptop is useless.  It’s not fair that Google have this installed that renders a  tablet totally unusable, even after the drive has been wiped clean.  Dosn’’t make sense.   It sucks big time.
