I recommend trying the front camera replacement first as this is usually the one at fault when both cameras don't work.
Just that the apple devices in particular may stop both cameras from working when the front camera is not working but rear camera works.
Both cameras never appear to go faulty at the same time. If you get the camera too hot warning the issue is related to camera ic bad. It can also be caused by liquid damage bottom right near the rear camera connector area too.
