You'll need to first lookup your CPU on Intels web site: [https://ark.intel.com/#@Processors|Intel ARK - CPU's]. Then you can see what CPU's are of the same series as yours. At one time it was easy as Intel was using the same socket, today their are a few different sockets for the '''i''' series chips.

So depending on what your system has for a socket your options will be limited to them CPU's that fit it.
