Electronic view finder inoperaive

I just bought , but haven't received a Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 camera that has a non operating electronic viewfinder. What will it cost to make it function properly. I'm told all pictures will currently have to be viewed and composed in the 1.8 inch screen.
