iPod Mini works when charging. Shuts off when unplugged.

Texto:

Opened up this iPod and found the complete iPod battery connection had broken off.  Re-soldered it and now it works when it is plugged in, but the second I unplug it shuts off.  What could I do?  Battery replacement?
