I have an HP laptop that was given to me to take a look at. The computer powers on but the screen stays black. The LEDs blink 4 times near the CAPS and NUM lock keys. I'm fairly sure this means a graphics card issue but the graphics are on the motherboard. Is the only fix for this a mobo replacement? Are there any issues with the OS that would come up if I install a new mobo?
